Yesterday

I know this post is supposed to be about what we experienced today….but I want to talk about what we experienced in December, 2019 and yesterday. In 2019, we took our first Princess cruise to the Antarctic. On the first day, we asked a young woman, Kelly, if we could join their trivia team which was 4 family members, The Ransomes‘. They allowed us to become part of their team and part of their family. We last saw them in Santiago , Chile, at the end of the cruise. During the cruise, we were privileged to spend many days with them and they invited us to share Christmas. We have never met a family so kind and generous as the Ransome family. For us, meeting people and experiencing other cultures are the reasons we travel. Beth and Kelly picked us up yesterday and took us to lunch on the Gold Coast. We slipped into our friendship like it had been yesterday instead of 3 years since we had last seen them. We have grown to love them and hope to see them again. We think of them as family and love to watch the children grow up from afar.
