We are on our third sea day out of six. On Monday we will be in Aqaba, Jordan. Roscoe and I are going to Wadi Rum since we went to Petra last time. But in the meantime, it takes 6 days of ocean travel to get there. During those sea days we read, sleep, eat and play trivia. Sea days are very slow paced. The ship provides activities and entertainment but, other than Trivia, Roscoe and I don’t participate in much. On the first day we arrived, we met Anna and Syd and Gary and Liz. Anna and Syd are Aussies who emigrated to Australia about 40 years ago from Scotland, they still have strong Scottish accents and are now retired. They have 5 children and 10 grand children. They live on Australia‘s Gold Coast; up by The Ransome‘s. They had their own business in Australia and Syd started out as a butcher. He makes me laugh. Anna kids me about my American accent and has me say ” Edinbura” just to make her laugh. Gary and Liz are younger that we and are also recently retired. They live in Western Australia near Perth. They have 2 grown daughters and 2 grandchildren. All 4 are funny, witty and truly our kind of people. We were very fortunate to meet them. How that happens when we play trivia is beyond me. But it seems to work every time. Last night was a formal night and also Anna and Syd’s 52nd anniversary. We went to dinner at Sabatini’s, the Italian specialty restaurant. we had a great time and spent 2.5 hours enjoying dinner.

Syd is wearing a Stewart of Burr(?) clan tartan.

Everyone looks lovely, especially Syd. Miss you and keep enjoying your adventure. Love read your blog.
