New Year’s Eve

Hi! I haven’t posted in a week. So I thought I’d post before the new year. We spent Christmas week in the islands of HAWAI’I, as you know! We got to Oahu on the 26th and had a nice day at the Bishop Museum and at our friend, Ron’s suggestion, lunch at Nico’s Pier 38. Since that time we’ve been at sea. We’ve played some trivia and celebrated our 40th anniversary ( we found out in trivia it is our Ruby Anniversary, 40th, and we’re on the Ruby Princess. I will share some pictures.

While boarding the Ruby Princess, we were in line with a young boy, Nor and his father Mohammed. The rest of their family had previously boarded but Not had broken his arm and had his cast removed, so they were late. He was so sweet, age 7 he told me. We discussed ice cream. Roscoe and I have this package where we get huge ice cream desserts every day. We’ve only had 1. But we ran into Nor, his brother Mo, who is 10 and his cousin, Ashia. We treated them to ice cream and those are the pictures you’ll see. It was one of the highlights of the cruise! They were so cute.

For our anniversary dinner we went to the Crown Grille and had a wonderful dinner. Exquisite champagne and great food! Roscoe bought me a beautiful diamond necklace. It was a huge surprise. We’re currently ranked 4th in our progressive trivia game. We met a couple, Peter and Irma, from California, and they’re our teammates. I’m getting anxious to be home. I have to start getting us ready for our African cruise! And I miss my girlfriends!
