Interesting Sri Lanka

Because our day was shortened, we prioritized what we wanted to see. First in the list was a Buddhist temple. We went to the largest Buddhist temple in Colombo. We then went to a Hindu temple, and saw the red mosque. We went to a tea tasting shop. I had to buy a bag of tea which I most likely will never drink….but I felt the need to spend a little money here. They have a huge street market. We drove through it but I am not a shopper and I hate bargaining so we didn’t get out. We were exhausted after 4 hours. We got back to the ship at 7 had dinner and fell in bed by 9. This tourist stuff can be exhausting!

Tut tuts are everywhere. The traffic and driving are just like you see in TV….crazy
