Greenock is a small port town that is the gateway to Glasgow. We went to Glasgow many years ago and we could have gone there or other places but we decided to stay in town. Greenock’s claim to fame is that it is the birthplace of James Watt; the Scotsman who refined the steam engine and as Branden says, developed the micrometer among other tools and inventions. It was raining when we walked to town and what did we decide to do? Well eat of course. We found a coffee shop and I had a long black and Roscoe had a full breakfast with a cappuccino. It was a delightful cafe, service was excellent and the almond croissant I had was tasty. My cold returned and it was a short day out. I couldn’t even find a magnet! When we sailed away, there were 5 bagpipers serenading us. We went to music (rock n roll) trivia last night and got 31 out of 40. It was just the 2 of us, so I didn’t feel so badly!
While on board, I’ve been texting everyone and today we’re arranging thanksgiving visits to Florida. We won’t be home for Christmas so having everyone for thanksgiving is important to us. We hope Naomi and Tobin can come. We haven’t seen them in such a long time…..but no pressure😍 and very excited that the Mississippi crew and Branden and Melinda can come.
Here are a few pictures from yesterday

They held hangings in front of the church.
