From 4100 square feet to 220

Our house in Florida is pretty big. We use most of the downstairs and save the upstairs for guests. But in this cruise, we’re spending almost 4 months in a room that is about the size of my bathroom at home. And it works just fine. Here are a couple of pictures of our space and a very heartfelt thanks to Ketut, from Indonesia, who comes in twice a day to make sure it’s all clean.

OUR WALL! As you all know, the only souvenir we purchase is a magnet. The walls are magnetic on the ship too. So here is a shot of my information wall. Next to the world map is our itinerary and a monthly calendar. That keeps me straight on where we are, where we’re headed and what excursions I have booked. The excursion tickets are also there. Various other docs, pics and magnets take up the rest of the space. If you look closely on the map, you can see the black grease pencil line which plots our position. It‘s probably too OCD for most, but it makes me happy!
