This is not the last that I will post about our trip, but I did want to tell everyone that we’re back in the USA. We left Sydney, Australia on the 20th ( yesterday) at 4pm. We got to the airport at 8:30am. We weren’t allowed to check in until noon. So we’re hauling 4 HUGE bags around until then. We go to check in at the kiosk. My passport says Teresa Gail. The flight is Teresa G. So of course, AI isn’t having that so we have to find a person to help us. Then we have to haul our 4 bags to the conveyor belt and load them on to the belt. We then went to the gate. We flew premium economy which was WONDERFUL. I watched 5 movies. The best was an adaptation of a book I read last year, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. The book was excellent….maybe that would be a good book for a reboot of our book club. Then we could watch the movie. So the Qantas flight was ideal, the only thing better would have been business class. I bid to upgrade but didn’t get it. We landed in Dallas, went through custoMs….easy with Global Entry, then waited for our luggage and waited some more. It finally arrives and we have to drag it to the drop off for our next flight. Then TSA. LORD HELP ME! We were supposed to have left awhile ago. But first they had to change a tire on the plane and now they’re saying the weather in Orlando is bad. So we can’t leave yet. I can’t even do the math to know how long we’ve been at it. But it’s well over 24 hours and we’re not home. Poor Anna who is picking us up! So that’s how air travel works these days. Our next big trip will be to Bangkok in March. I’m still working on that trip. I’ll let you know tomorrow if we get home today!
We board our last leg, American to Mco…Orlando…we have the last 2 seats the aisle and the middle in row 36. No tilting as we’re against the bulkhead next to the toilet. I thought it couldn’t get any worse, then a woman with a Nineteen month old sits down in front of us. Then another guy shows up to take the window seat. UGH….I’ll make sure and check this out next spring when we fly again. But Anna made it to pick us up. We got home without any trouble. We came in and saw the damage from the water leak…and the AC in our bedroom is not running. But those are all things we can face tomorrow. It’s almost 3am. Roscoe finally went to sleep. As you can guess, I’m still up. Hope this eternal clock adjusts before too long. And OMG…..INTERNET THAT IS QUICK!! I’m in heaven.
I still have a couple of posts to conclude and I will handle those tomorrow. Goodnight!

That was the start and we both look whipped there. You should see us now!
A view of Sydney as we left. You can see the bridge, the opera house and our ship! I’m already missing the dining and bedroom cleaning!
Last view if Australia. Note our ship, the Coral Princess and the opera house and the bridge. That Roscoe took a great picture.

I go through that Dallas airport a lot and it’s like the death March to get threw customs. Happy you made it home safe . It was a wonderful trip and I enjoyed it very much . Sometime in the future hank and I would like to cruise with you two on a week cruise only . Would be fun ! Happy trails to you both ❤️
