Aunt Kaye

I am sitting here in the international cafe having coffee and gasp! a banana. We’ve been out of bananas for awhile. I was thinking about the story Sandra Kaye Perry Liberto told me about going to the Chateau Frontenac with friends and she and John Philip got the nice room, while her friends who had done all the booking, got a smaller room. That led me to thinking about her and how she’s always been there for me. She stood up with me when I married Chris. She and I have come and gone in each others lives, but as we near old age, I appreciate those who have been in my life and have been there for me. I know that last few years have been difficult for her but she is making her way with a kind heart and open arms. With wonderful children and 4 beautiful grandchildren, I hope her life is full.
