Almost the End….but as Jimmy Buffet always said, ‘not yet’. September 18, 2023

We’re almost at the end. This afternoon the ship had a ‘going away‘ party. We sat with our trivia group, drank champagne, and applauded the crew. Then we had a final dinner with our trivia group, Anna, Sid, Liz and Gary. They have truly become our friends. I will be so sad to let them go. Finally, we played cards with Dorothy and Barbara. I can’t tell you how sad I am about having to let them leave. I will miss Barbara’s sweet demeanor and Dorothy’s infectious laugh. Most likely we will never see them again and that thought makes me sad and glad. What a great world we live in. Here are a few pictures from tonight.

Liz, Anna and me….our final dinner. Liz and Gary may join us on our Princess cruise from Tokyo to Vancouver ! I sure hope so!

i will post a couple of thoughts tomorrow and Wednesday. We’re due to fly out at 3:40 on Wednesday afternoon. We will arrive in Orlando at 10:15 pm that same night ( after gaining our lost day back) if all goes well! Good night and I will talk to you tomorrow.
